KUWAIT CITY, October 26: Al Faiha Investigations officers have arrested an Indian expatriate born in 1970 who was wanted in several fraud and swindling cases, following an arrest warrant issued against him.

According to a security report, the suspect allegedly targeted Kuwaiti citizens by claiming he could provide domestic workers at half the prevailing market price. He reportedly collected advance payments from his victims before disappearing without fulfilling his promises.

After tracking the suspect, Al Faiha Investigations officers set up an ambush and arrested him. He was subsequently handed over to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.

The arrest forms part of ongoing security efforts to apprehend individuals wanted in fraud and swindling cases.

Authorities have not disclosed the number of alleged victims or the total amount of money involved.
