Indian Public School (IPS), Salmiya, triumphed as champions at the prestigious 26th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Football Tournament 2024, hosted this year by the Indian English Academy School (IEAS). The tournament started with an exciting inauguration ceremony led by the Principal of IEAS, setting the stage for an intense display of skill and sportsmanship.

Nineteen Indian schools from across Kuwait competed in this highly anticipated tournament. IPS showcased an outstanding performance, starting with a victory over IEAS in the opening match. In the quarterfinals, IPS defeated CSK, moving on to face FAIPS in the semifinals, where they secured another win. The final game saw IPS take on IISM, where they emerged victorious, clinching the championship title.

The tournament concluded with a memorable closing ceremony, attended by the Director of IEAS and the Principals of IPS and IISM, to celebrate the achievements of all the participants. Congratulations to the IPS football team and their coach Mr Mohammed IrshadulHaqe for their remarkable performance. Kudos to IEAS for organizing such a successful event, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among young athletes
