KUWAIT CITY, July 21: The Municipal Council was to address several important issues, including proposals related to insurance regulation and infrastructure development during the meeting. During the meeting, the council was to review two letters from the Insurance Regulatory Unit concerning the localization of all insurance activities within craft and industrial areas.

This proposal aligns with Law No. 125 of 2019, which regulates the insurance sector. Muhammad Al-Otaibi, head of the Insurance Regulatory Unit, will highlight the initiative as part of a broader strategy to enhance the insurance sector in Kuwait. He emphasized the need to facilitate access to insurance services for business owners, neighboring citizens, and visitors in these areas. The council was also to discuss a document outlining the vision for tourism in Kuwait from a scientific perspective. This discussion aims to evaluate and advance the strategic approach to tourism development.
