KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Adel Al-Adwani recently issued a directive to continue the investigation into the quarrel between a student and outsiders at a secondary school for girls in Jahra Educational District, reports Al-Rai daily. When he visited the school, Al-Adwani was briefed on the incident. He also inspected the administrative building of the district and was informed about the progress of the work there. He then stressed the need to strictly implement regulations and laws, affirming the ministry will never be lenient in dealing with those proven to have committed violations.

Meanwhile, official spokesperson of the ministry Ahmed Al-Wahida confirmed that the necessary steps have been taken to expand the investigation into the above-mentioned incident. He added the investigation report will be submitted soon to pave way for taking legal action. Al-Wahida said the ministry coordinated with its Interior counterpart, particularly in asking the assistance of female police officers to ensure the safety of everyone. He emphasized that the ministry is keen on strictly applying the regulations to protect the students, employees and other individuals in the educational sector.
