KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: The Ministry of Interior continues to carry out robust crackdowns to apprehend those in violation of regulations.

A total of 160 expats found themselves in custody due to the relentless efforts of the Residence Investigation Department. This includes 15 street vendors, 5 individuals caught with 120 bottles of alcohol, 5 violators operating an unlicensed bakery, and two individuals connected to counterfeit servants' offices.

The General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, through its Search and Investigation Department and the Tripartite Committee Department, conducted intensive inspection campaigns in various areas, such as Salwa, Fahaheel, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and the Farwaniya Governorate. Additionally, a surprise operation was carried out at the fish market in the Sharq region. These operations collectively resulted in the apprehension of 160 individuals, comprising 15 street vendors, 24 car washers, 5 individuals caught with 120 bottles of homemade wine, and 5 violators involved in an unlicensed bakery situated within a building in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Two individuals linked to fraudulent servants' offices were also apprehended.

Legal actions are being taken against these violators, and they will be referred to the competent authorities for further proceedings.
