KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: Today, Tuesday, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, honored Major General Dr. Faisal Al-Mekrad by bestowing upon him the rank of Major General, following the issuance of a decree promoting him and appointing him as Director General of the General Department of Investigations at the Ministry of Interior. He also honored Major General Talal Al-Roumi from the General Fire Force with the rank of Major General, following a decree promoting him and appointing him as Deputy Chief of the General Fire Force.

Sheikh Fahd Yousef Al-Sabah congratulated both Major General Al-Mekrad and Major General Al-Roumi on earning the trust of the political leadership, wishing them success in their new roles. He emphasized the need for increased efforts to strengthen the rule of law and advance the firefighting system to benefit the nation and its citizens.
