KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2:  First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, emphasized today, Friday, that the safety of ministry employees remains a top priority for the security institution.

In a press statement on Friday, the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media at the Ministry announced that Minister Al-Sabah praised the efforts of security personnel in apprehending reckless drivers and lawbreakers, and in maintaining the safety and security of everyone. His comments came during a visit to a hospital where he met with an officer currently receiving treatment after being struck by a vehicle in the Sabahiyah area while on duty.

The department stated that Sheikh Fahad checked on the officer’s health condition during the visit and received a full report from the medical team overseeing the officer’s treatment. (KUNA)
