KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: The Ministry of Interior, through its 'X' platform,  has issued a reminder to citizens that the deadline for completing biometric fingerprint registration is approaching, with only 22 days remaining before it closes on September 30, 2024. The ministry emphasized that all government transactions will be suspended for individuals who fail to complete the biometric process by the deadline.

To accommodate the demand, the working hours at the designated biometric fingerprint centers, located in identity investigation departments and shopping malls, have been extended. These centers will now operate daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Citizens are required to book an appointment in advance through the "Sahel" application before visiting the designated centers.

It is important to note that the Ministry of Interior has extended the deadline for citizens to complete their fingerprinting until the 30th of this month and for residents until December 31. This will be the final deadline, after which transactions for any citizen or resident who has not completed the fingerprinting process will be halted.
