KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The Ministry of Interior has called on sports fans to follow security and traffic instructions during the 26th Gulf Cup (Gulf Zain 26), which is being hosted by Kuwait starting today, Saturday, and will run until January 3. In a press statement, the ministry urged fans and spectators not to park in prohibited areas or spaces designated for people with special needs, and to avoid blocking roads or causing traffic congestion.
The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to public morals, respecting laws, and maintaining discipline, while presenting themselves in a manner that reflects the civilized image of the State of Kuwait. It also assured that all relevant security sectors, in cooperation with the organizing bodies, are present to ensure the safety of the tournament and are available to assist the public and provide necessary support.
