iPhone 16 pricing and specifications leaked ahead of expected release.

NEW YORK, Aug 20: With the iPhone 16’s anticipated release less than a month away, new details on pricing and specifications have emerged. Apple Hub, a reliable source for Apple leaks, has shared information on the expected costs and features of the upcoming iPhone 16 lineup.

According to the leak, Apple plans to keep the starting prices of the iPhone 16 models consistent with those of the iPhone 15 series. This is notable amid a summer where competitors have increased their smartphone prices. The stable pricing could boost the iPhone 16 models' appeal.

The most significant change appears to be with the iPhone 16 Pro, which is rumored to start at $1,099. This represents a $100 increase over the iPhone 15 Pro. The new Pro model will feature a larger screen and a new telephoto lens, and it will start with 256GB of storage. This mirrors the strategy used for the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year.

The leak also confirms that the iPhone 16 lineup will include the largest Pro and Pro Max models to date, with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively. All new iPhones are expected to feature the A18 system-on-chip, with a pro variant planned for the Pro models.

However, some anticipated features might not make it to this year's models. The rumored iPhone 16 Ultra is absent from the leak, and it may be introduced next year alongside the speculated iPhone 17 Slim. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro could face challenges with battery life due to a smaller capacity compared to the Plus and Pro Max versions.

While earlier rumors suggested that the entire iPhone 16 lineup would support Wi-Fi 7, the leak indicates that only the Pro models will include this feature. The Pro models are also expected to have enhanced camera systems, featuring a 48MP ultrawide lens and 5x optical zoom.

More details will be revealed at Apple's September event, where the new iPhone lineup will be officially announced. Stay tuned to Tom's Guide for the latest updates.
