The Iqlis Academy team.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: The Iqlis Academy team secured the top spot in the group stage of the Kuwaiti Amateur League, held under the auspices of the Kuwait Football Association. They clinched their position after a convincing three-goal victory over the SFG Academy team. This achievement propels them directly into the semi-final match, where they will face the winner between Haido Academy and R9 Academy.

Abdul Rahman Mustafa, the technical director of the Eagles team, expressed his commitment to delivering his best in his inaugural experience in the amateur league under the patronage of the Kuwaiti Federation and the General Sports Authority. His aim is to showcase the Eagles Academy players in their finest artistic form and solidify the team's technical identity throughout the league. Mustafa emphasized that his goal, since taking on the technical responsibilities of the Akılız Academy, has been crystal clear — to reach the coveted golden square.

The Iqlis Academy boasts a roster of exceptional players, including Fahd Al-Shalal, Khalaf Al-Rashidi, an Al-Tadamon player, Abdullah Al-Husseinan, an Al-Nasr player, along with teammates Nawaf Al-Mutairi, Muhammad Al-Fadhli, the Sulaibikhat goalkeeper, and Othman Al-Rashidi.
