KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: Iran, Japan, Thailand and Uzbekistan teams reached the semi-finals of the Asian Futsal Cup on Tuesday after defeating Vietnam, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Kuwait in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Kuwait.

Kuwait Vs Uzbekistan

Kuwait lost to Uzbekistan by 3:0, as Uzbekistan scored its goals through its players Anskhan Rakhmatov, Davron Churyev and Hasanuddin Neshonov to qualify for the semi-finals.

Iran vs Vietnam

In the second match, Iran defeated Vietnam by 8:1 to qualify for the semi-finals. Goals for Iran were scored by Hossein Tibi (three goals), Salar Agapur, Alireza, Mohammad Bazyar, Mossam Ouldgobad and Ahmad Abbasi, one each, while the goal of Vietnam was scored by Pham Duc Hua.

Japan Vs Indonesia

In the third match, Japan defeated Indonesia (3-2), Japan's Sora Kanazawa, Suma Mizutani and Hegor Perez scored scored goals for Japan, while Indonesia's goals were scored by Samuel Aiko and Diwa Amanda.

In the fourth match, Thailand defeated Tajikistan to win by 3:2, Thailand scored their goals through their player Banut Kittivanong, Jitsada Chudish and Warasak Sriranjberut, while Tajikistan scored their goals through their players Iqbali Fositzoda and Idris Yorov.

In the semi-finals, Thailand will face Iran. Japan will play against Uzbekistan
