KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced that the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah issued ministerial resolution No. 1/2025, which amends some provisions of the rules and procedures for granting work permits through the addition of Clause No. 3 to Article No. 47 of the resolution, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The amendment prohibits the registration of any new files for companies registered with PAM, whether for the manager or authorized personnel if it is proven that any existing files related to them have been suspended until the legal status of these files is resolved 
The Director of the Public Relations and Media Department and official spokesperson of PAM Mohammad Al-Muzaini revealed that suspension cases include:
- The presence of one or more inactive licenses registered on the file
- The presence of one or more licenses on a blocked file
- The presence of licenses without a registered address. Al-Muzaini stressed that the resolution also prohibits certain procedures for these companies, such as adding new licenses, updating license data (e.g., changing address or details), adding new workers, or estimating labor needs.
