Jahra Detectives Solve Grocery Worker’s Murder, Kuwaiti Arrested

KUWAIT CITY, March 21: The Criminal Security Sector, represented by detectives in Jahra, has successfully resolved the murder case of a grocery store worker who was fatally run over in the Mutlaa area approximately a week after the crime occurred. According to a security source, the investigation was intensified under the directives of Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, Undersecretary of the Criminal Security Sector. Through diligent efforts, the detectives tracked down and arrested the suspect, who was identified as a Kuwaiti citizen. Investigations revealed that the accused had been involved in similar prior incidents, though those cases did not result in fatalities. Instead, the victims, who were also grocery store workers, sustained various injuries.

The incident, which occurred on March 14, was published by Alseyassah / Arab Times. An unidentified individual driving a four-wheel vehicle had approached a grocery store worker in Al-Mutlaa, requesting certain items. After the worker handed over the requested items, the suspect attempted to flee without payment. As the expatriate worker tried to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated, causing the victim to fall and be run over. The worker suffered severe injuries and later succumbed to them, marking a tragic end to the altercation.
