KUWAIT CITY, Sep 24: Under the direction of the investigator at Jahra Police Station, orders were issued to apprehend an expatriate for physically assaulting his wife and refusing to answer calls from the police.
The 25-year-old expatriate residing in Jahra reported that her husband, who is 14 years her senior, physically assaulted her. She explained that after he lost his job, she asked him to wake up at 9 a.m. to look for work, which angered him and led to the assault. Subsequently, the investigator tried to reach the husband for his testimony, but he failed to respond to several calls. The wife submitted a medical report with the case file, classifying the incident as a "misdemeanor," and indicating that she was suffering from pain in her head and neck.
