KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), in cooperation with the Public Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior, carried out a joint inspection campaign across Hawalli Governorate, covering more than 70 establishments.

The campaign targeted labor-law violators and companies suspected of committing violations, while also providing awareness and guidance to employers and workers.

PAM said teams from the Labor Inspection Department, Labor Relations Department and Public Relations Department participated in the campaign, monitoring violations and observations involving both employers and workers.

The inspection teams issued notices requiring establishments to rectify the violations and shortcomings detected during the campaign. They also examined indicators and suspicions related to forced and compulsory labor, taking the necessary measures in accordance with applicable procedures.

The Authority affirmed that field inspection campaigns will continue in coordination with security agencies as part of ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market and safeguard the rights of all parties.
