LOS ANGELES, Dec 3, (Agencies): After more than two years of keeping a low profile, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, known for his role in Home Improvement and as the voice of young Simba in The Lion King, made a rare public appearance. On Nov 29, he was spotted in Southern California, taking a leisurely walk while holding what seemed to be a coffee thermos. The 42-year-old actor was casually dressed in a brown Lacoste sweater, a green T-shirt, jeans, and New Balance sneakers.

This marked JTT’s first public sighting since July 2021 when he was photographed in Los Angeles, donning a blue New York Mets hat, sunglasses, and a dark hoodie. Notably, he wore New Balance sneakers on both occasions. Prior to the 2021 appearance, Jonathan Taylor Thomas had maintained a low profile for almost eight years, making this recent sighting a super rare event.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas’s last television appearance was on Tim Allen’s sitcom, Last Man Standing, where he reunited with his Home Improvement co-star. He contributed to four episodes between 2013 and 2015 and even directed three episodes. Before this, his last TV appearance was in 2005 on Veronica Mars, showcasing the actor’s infrequent ventures into television in recent years.
