KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: The Jordanian capital, Amman, will host the re-draw for the 10th Asian Junior Championship, which serves as the 2025 World Cup Qualifiers for Slovenia. The event will take place today at the headquarters of the Jordan Handball Federation, with the championship scheduled to be held in Jordan from September 3-14.

Last week, the Asian Handball Federation decided to relocate the tournament from Iran to Jordan due to regional tensions, ensuring the safety and security of all participating teams. Previously, the draw had placed the "Blues" in Group D, alongside Japan, China, and Jordan.

In related news, Al-Sulaibikhat Club has hired Fahad Fahid to lead the youth handball team and assist first-team coach Walid Fayrouz. Fahid, a former player for Al-Salmiya Club and national teams, brings extensive experience to the role and has transitioned to coaching after retiring from professional play.
