LOS ANGELES, Oct 7, (Agencies): Julia Fox is breaking her silence regarding her brief romance with Kanye West. The 33-year-old Uncut Gems actress revealed in an interview while discussing her book, Down the Drain, that she initially believed her connection with the 46-year-old rapper and fashion icon could become something meaningful.

"I truly connected with him on a deep level," Fox confessed, expressing her initial hope that she could aid in resolving the complex situation between West and his ex, Kim Kardashian. However, she quickly realized that her involvement had taken an unexpected turn. "I soon realized that I was being manipulated," she admitted. "I felt like I was nothing more than his puppet."

While Fox only lightly touches on her relationship with West in her book, she states, "I refuse to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on principle. I never have, and I never will." She did add a caveat, saying, "Unless it's for a professional opportunity, in which case, I'm open to it."

Reflecting on how her romance with West may have influenced her career, Fox candidly shared, "I know for a fact that I missed out on certain opportunities due to my relationship with Kanye. It's quite surprising." She also emphasized that, in her view, their relationship wasn't as big of a deal as others made it out to be.

Fox delved further into her time with West, pinpointing the "manipulation" as the reason why their relationship lasted only a month. In her memoir, she revealed that the date she had previously described with West in a magazine article was essentially a work of fiction, orchestrated by West's team—an alarming discovery for her. "When I realized what was happening, I knew I didn't want any part of it," Fox explained, referring to the situation as a "red flag."
