KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The General Traffic Department reported that last week’s campaigns led to the arrest of 66 juveniles caught driving their family vehicles without a driver’s license. These individuals were referred to Juvenile Prosecution. Additionally, 66 other violators were detained and referred to the Traffic Department for committing serious offenses.

In a separate announcement, the Operations and Traffic Sector stated that rescue police officers arrested 26 individuals for driving under the influence of narcotics and alcohol between July 28 and August 3. These offenders were handed over to the General Department for Combating Narcotics. During this period, authorities also arrested 195 wanted persons and issued 11,826 traffic violations.
