KUWAIT CITY, March 19: The Juvenile Prosecution conducted a survey involving 300 children, irrespective of their legal status, who were referred to it between September and December 2024. The survey aimed to "assess the prevalence of school violence among children and its consequences," as part of broader efforts to strengthen legal and social protections for children.
The Public Prosecution emphasized that this initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to foster collaboration among relevant authorities, raise awareness about the dangers of violence and its impact on children, and evaluate the reality of violence in schools from the children's perspectives. The goal is to better understand the scope of the issue, encourage children to share their experiences and opinions, and ultimately contribute to developing effective preventive measures that promote a safer and more stable educational environment.
