KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Youssef Karim announced on his account on the social media platform "X" that the long-standing crisis at Al-Jahra Club has come to an end. This resolution follows the approval from the Public Authority for Sports and the Kuwait Olympic Committee to implement the decision made by the National Arbitration Authority, which involved transferring the club's presidency.

The club had been grappling with an administrative crisis after the dissolution of its board of directors, led by lawyer Khaled Al-Jarallah. This resulted in a three-way conflict involving Al-Jarallah, Youssef Karim, and Khalaf Al-Sahou, which escalated to local courts and the International Court of Arbitration. Karim expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Sports Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Chairman of the Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser, and Director of the Sports Authority Bashar Abdullah for their efforts in resolving the club's year-long issue. He emphasized the importance of respecting sports institutions and the decisions of the Sports Arbitration Authority.

Karim reiterated that the club's doors are open to all, viewing disagreements regarding its management as differences in opinion. He noted the strong social bonds among the people of Jahra.
