KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: A Kuwait-hosted Kayak fishing contest bringing together more than 40 athletes from around the world is set to kick off on Friday, the chief of the country's sea sports club said on Wednesday.
The contest at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway will run from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm local time, Mohammad Al-Zanki said in a statement, pointing out that winners across all categories would be the recipients of valuable prizes. (KUNA)
