KUWAIT CITY, May 27: In the fourth round of the Premier Handball League, Kazma and Al-Arabi faced off in a thrilling match that ended in a 27-27 draw at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. In the same round, Al-Kuwait showcased its strength by defeating Al-Salmiya 36-28, while Al-Qadisiya, bouncing back from two consecutive defeats, narrowly edged out Burgan with a 27-26 victory.
Kuwait Club continues to dominate the Premier League standings with 32 points, followed by Al-Qadisiya with 27 points. Kazma holds third place with 25 points, trailed by Al-Salmiya with 23, Al-Arabi with 22, and Burgan with 18.
In the First Division League, Al-Qurain is set to meet Al-Nasr at 5 pm, and Yarmouk will face Al-Fahaheel at 6:30 pm.
Meanwhile, international lecturer Dr. Khaled Al-Sharji highlighted the efforts of the Kuwaiti Handball Federation, along with the International and Asian Federations, to enhance training standards in Asia, aligning with global developmental trends. He noted the success of two recent Category D training courses in Kuwait, which saw active participation from both male and female trainers.
Echoing Al-Sharji's sentiments, international lecturer Dr. Muhammad Al-Sammak emphasized the Kuwaiti Federation's commitment to organizing training courses aimed at enhancing the skills of national training cadres.
