KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Kazma Club has contracted Cuban professional Abraham Alfonso and French professional Samuel Gini to strengthen the ranks of volleyball's first team for the new 2024-2025 season.

The management of the "Sons of Al-Adiliya" has made significant changes to the first team, both technically and at the player level. Brazilian coach Cacarato has been contracted to replace Iranian Javad Shamami. Cacarato, who is currently coaching the Brazilian youth team, will join the team" in the first week of September. Additionally, Brazilian physical trainer Rivera will arrive on the 12th of this month. The French professional will arrive next Thursday, followed by the Cuban professional the subsequent Sunday.

The Kazma volleyball first team will begin its preparations for the next season this coming Sunday. Assistant Saad Yaqoub, confirmed that the Kazma team will look completely different in the new season, with an 80% change rate. He stated, "The club's management and the coaching staff are keen to prepare the team before the start of the new season's competitions and to compete seriously for local titles."

Yaqoub expressed his optimism about the team's performance, hoping these changes will translate well on the field during official matches. Notably, the Kazma volleyball team has included several experienced local players to support the first team, namely Abdulaziz Muharab, Abdulwahab Al-Jiran, Ali Al-Saqan, and Mubarak Abdulhadi Al-Eidan. The new volleyball season will start on September 15 and conclude in early June 2025.
