KUWAIT CITY, March 24, Kazma continued their stellar performance in handball after claiming the Super Cup last week, defeating Al-Qadsiya 27-21 in the final round of the 12th round of the "Merged" League at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Hall, where Al-Arabi also triumphed over Al-Sahel with a commanding 46-28 victory.

With these results, Kuwait Club remains at the top of the standings with 22 points, just one point ahead of second-place Kazma. Burgan follows with 19 points, while Al-Arabi sits at 16 points. Al-Salmiya and Al-Sulaibikhat each have 14 points, with Al-Qurain, Al-Qadsiya, and Al-Nasr all tied at 12 points. Khaitan and Fahaheel have 8 points, Al-Tadamon has 3 points, Yarmouk has 2 points, and Al-Sahel remains at 0.

The preliminary round will conclude on the 28th of this month, after which the Premier League will commence. The top six teams from the preliminary round will qualify based on accumulated points. The Premier League will be played in three divisions, with the team with the highest points at the end being crowned champions.

The teams ranked seventh through 14th will compete in the First Division League, which will be held in a two-round, home-and-away format, with points from the preliminary round carried over.

The 13th round begins today with two exciting matches. The first will see Al-Tadamon face Al-Nasr at 9:00 pm.
