Kazma faces a tough test against Burqan in the Federation Volleyball Championship

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: Kazma is set to face a challenging match against Burqan at 7:00 PM this evening in the seventh round of the Federation Volleyball Championship. Earlier in the evening, Al-Arabi will clash with Al-Yarmouk at 5:00 pm. Both matches will take place in the Federation Hall at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex.

Burqan enters the match in impressive form, occupying third place with 14 points from five consecutive victories. Kazma, meanwhile, sits in fourth place with 12 points, having secured four wins and a single loss. This pivotal match holds high stakes for both teams, as it will not only solidify their qualification for the next round but also underscore their ambitions to contend for the championship title.

In the second match, Al-Arabi, currently sixth with 6 points, appears poised to secure a victory over seventh-placed Al-Yarmouk, who have earned just 3 points, given the significant technical gap between the two teams.

In other developments, the draw for the League Championship and the Super Championship for the 2024–2025 sports season took place recently.

The League's first-round matches include:

Al-Arabi vs. Kazma

Al-Shabab vs. Al-Tadamon

Al-Sulaibikhat vs. Al-Nasr

Al-Qadsiya vs. Al-Sahel

Burqan vs. Al-Yarmouk

Kuwait Club received a bye for the first round.

In the Super Championship, Kuwait  Club will face Kazma, while Al-Qadsiya will take on Al-Arabi, with the winners advancing to the final match.
