Kazma faces Egyptian Olympic team ahead of Asian Championship

CAIRO, Nov 2: Kazma is set to kick off its current training camp in Cairo with a friendly match against the Egyptian Olympic team.

The team, known as the "Ambassador," is preparing for the 27th Asian Handball Clubs League Championship, scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, from November 13 to 24.

In the draw for the Asian Championship, Kazma has been placed in Group B alongside several notable teams, including last year's champions, Al-Ahli from Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahly Sidab from Oman, Al-Duhail from Qatar, and Mes Kerman from Iran. Meanwhile, Kuwait, the other representative of Kuwaiti handball currently training in Manama, competes in Group A, facing Qatari club Al-Rayyan, Iraq's Al-Karkh, Al-Sharjah from the UAE, and Bahrain's Al-Shabab.

The "Orange" team is also in the final stages of securing contracts with foreign professional players for the tournament, with announcements expected soon.

Kazma is being represented in the camp and tournament by a dedicated team, including treasurer Omar Al-Mulla, game manager Salem Abdul Salam, administrator Tariq Al-Subaie, media coordinator Nasser Al-Fadhli, Serbian head coach Radric Bozo, goalkeeper coach Hamdi Al-Maraq, physical trainer Abdullah Thaqib, physiotherapist Darko Antik, and technical analyst Walid Al-Anzi, along with 20 players.
