Kazma kicks off the 27th Asian Handball Clubs Championship in Doha with high hopes

Bozo leads Kazma in the Asian Cup.

DOHA, Nov 11: The 27th Asian Handball Clubs Championship kicked off in Doha, Qatar, and will run from November 12 to 27. The opening match saw Kazma and Oman’s Ahli Sidab face off at 1:45 pm, marking the start of the tournament. Later today, Saudi Arabia's defending champion, Al-Khaleej, will compete against Iran's Mes Kerman in a Group Two match, which also features Al-Duhail of Qatar.

Kazma, coached by Serbian Bozo, has a strong lineup that includes Tunisian professionals Anwar bin Abdullah and Muhammad Farad, alongside tournament recruits such as Tunisian Wajdi Sinan, Argentine Moscono Lux, and Portuguese Gonzalo Felipe.

The team is aiming for a strong performance in the preliminary round, with hopes of advancing to the semifinals and competing for the championship title.

Kazma prepared for the tournament with a training camp in Cairo, Egypt, where they played several friendly matches. Coach Bozo expressed confidence in the team’s ability to achieve its goals, highlighting the players' great form in the local league and the unwavering support from the club’s management and technical staff.
