KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Kazma secured its fourth victory in the volleyball league, defeating Al-Sulaibikhat 3-0 in the fifth round of the preliminary stage. The round also featured Al-Shabab's commanding 3-0 win over Al-Yarmouk.

Kazma dominated the match, comfortably taking the first set 25-12. The second set saw more resistance from Al-Sulaibikhat, but Kazma edged it out 25-23 before wrapping up the match with a decisive 25-15 victory in the third set.

In the other game, Al-Shabab delivered a strong performance, defeating Al-Yarmouk in straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-18.

With this win, Kazma increased its tally to 12 points, placing third in the standings, while Al-Sulaibikhat remains seventh with no points after five consecutive losses. Al-Shabab climbed to fifth with 7 points, leaving Yarmouk at the bottom without any points.

The round began on Thursday, where Kuwait Club defeated Al-Arabi, and Al-Qadsiya triumphed over Al-Nasr, both with 3-0 scores. The tournament follows a single-round league format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. The first-ranked team will face the fourth, and the second will meet the third, with the winners progressing to the final.
