The joy of Kazma players with the first goal against Al-Shabab.

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: Kazma coach Mohamed Dehelis has affirmed his commitment to integrating young players into the upcoming games of the Zain Premier League's relegation group. Since taking charge of the "Orange" team last December, Dehelis has actively promoted talents such as Dhari Al-Raqam, Salem Al-Khatlan, Youssef Al-Kandari, Talal Al-Qaisi, Nawaf Thamer, Jarrah Al-Hilaili, Yousef Al-Khatib, and Fahd Al-Fadhli.

Emphasizing the importance of cultivating a winning mentality, Dehelis aims to instill this culture in the team's remaining three-season fixtures. He underlines that securing survival in the Premier League marks just the beginning, not the conclusion, of the team's journey.

Following Kazma's recent 2-0 victory over Al-Shabab in the third round of relegation group matches, the team stands atop the standings with 29 points, boasting a comfortable 14-point lead over Khaitan.

Dehelis plans to conduct a thorough assessment of all squad members and devise a comprehensive plan for the upcoming season. However, he stresses that the primary focus remains on delivering outstanding results in the remaining matches of the current tournament.

Expressing gratitude to the players for their dedication and performance, Dehelis expresses optimism for the team's continued success in the future.

In other news, the Kazma administration has terminated its contract with Colombian professional Hansel Zapata, with both parties reaching an agreement on his future participation with the team. Zapata, who enjoyed a stellar season with Al-Nasr, finishing second in the league's top scorers' chart with 17 goals, will not be part of Kazma's plans for the next season.

With an eye toward future success, Kazma has initiated preparations for the upcoming season following its early exit from the Emir’s Cup and missed opportunities in the league. Negotiations are underway with a "super" foreign player, with an official announcement expected soon.

Notably, Kazma began the season with several foreign professionals before making strategic adjustments during the winter transfer period in January, reinforcing the squad with new signings.
