KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: The Kuwait Football Association decided to postpone all decisions related to the association, its committees, and departments until after the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier match between Kuwait and Jordan on Tuesday. This decision was made in support of the national team and its players during the board of directors meeting.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef, president of the association, emphasized the urgency of resolving delays in salary payments for employees and workers, which have been pending due to the lack of signature approvals in coordination with the General Authority for Sports.

It is anticipated that several key leadership changes will be confirmed: Osama Hussein will take on the role of Vice President for Technical Affairs, Mubarak Abdel Aziz will be Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Fahd Al-Hamlan will chair the Competitions Committee, Ahmed Ajab will lead the National Teams Committee, and Ayman Al-Husseini will head the Development Committee.

Additionally, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef met with the South Korean Ambassador to Kuwait, Park Chung-sook, yesterday, alongside Ayman Al-Husseini, to discuss preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifier match between the Kuwaiti national team and the South Korean team, scheduled for Thursday.
