KFH celebrates graduates of Building Leadership Excellence program

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced the successful conclusion of the Building Leadership Excellence program, a transformative leadership initiative in partnership with IE Business School, Headspring, and the Financial Times.

Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer at KFH, Zeyad Abdullah AlOmar, highlighted the importance of the initiative and KFH’s commitment to leadership development, indicating that the program represents a pivotal step in KFH’s strategy to invest in its talent and cultivate leaders who will contribute towards achieving further leadership and excellence for KFH.

He said: “At KFH, we believe that investing in our employees is key to sustaining our growth and achieving our strategic ambitions. The Building Leadership Excellence program is a cornerstone of our efforts to equip high-potential leaders with the skills and confidence needed to navigate an ever-changing business environment. We are immensely proud of this graduating cohort and look forward to the impact they will make within their teams and the bank.”

Alomar indicated that the Building Leadership Excellence Program has been tailored based on the latest trends in the banking industry and leadership programs, capitalizing on numerous extensive learning sessions that keep pace with KFH Group as a leading banking group. It is a flagship program designed to equip KFH Leaders with the tools and latest thinking to enhance their effectiveness as Leaders. The program consists of 3 modules, Leading Self, Leading Team, and Leading Business. Also, it embodies various traits such as interdependence, resilience and inclusiveness, enabling participants to collaborate and concurrently address challenges by working together. It is worth noting that all KFH Group leaders went through an intricate selection process to ensure the KFH talent pipeline is further supported with this new cohort.

Alomar extended gratitude to IE Business School, Headspring, and the Financial Times for their unwavering support in shaping this transformative initiative.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, KFH Group Chief Operations Officer, Abdulla Abu Alhous, lauded the program’s participants, indicating that it is a significant milestone in their journey towards leadership and excellence. “The advanced knowledge, insightful discussions, and hands-on experience you gained have upskilled you to embrace challenges, adapt to evolving environments, and lead with integrity and vision. Meanwhile, Bassém Banna, Vice President, Corporate Partnerships – MEA said: “We are delighted to welcome KFH’s high-potential leaders to the IE campus in Madrid as they celebrate the successful completion of the 2024 Building Leadership Excellence flagship program. Over the past four months, participants have embarked on a transformative journey, engaging in a curriculum tailored to their roles and designed to strengthen essential leadership competencies.”

He added that through immersive learning experiences and customized leadership modules, participants engaged with cutting-edge academic insights from top faculty and tackled real-world challenges directly relevant to their environments.
