KUWAIT CITY, Jan 07: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has expanded its digital offerings by introducing new banking services on its KFHonline app. This move underscores KFH's dedication to providing customers with a seamless and secure banking experience while reinforcing its position at the forefront of digital banking innovation.
WAMD Service
Executive Manager Digital and Alternative Channels at KFH, Meshal Al-Obaid said that KFH provides a suite of digital services, including WAMD, an instant money transfer solution. Customers can utilize WAMD to request funds from a group of individuals using their phone numbers. The service facilitates real-time delivery of requests. Furthermore, customers can conveniently track the payment status of each user within the WAMD service's transaction history.
WAMD enables customers to instantly send and request money to other customers at KFH or any local bank using their mobile number. This service is free and accessible around the clock.
Al-Obaid mentioned that this service, launched in collaboration with KNET and accessible on KFHonline, underscores KFH's digital leadership. It exemplifies the bank's dedication to providing innovative digital financial solutions, including robust payment systems. This aligns with KFH's focus on enhancing its technology and delivering seamless digital experiences to customers.
Request money from a group
Al-Obaid noted that customers can now request money from a group by either sharing a payment link and entering recipients' phone numbers or by creating a group. Furthermore, they can track everyone’s payment status through transactions history for KFH PAY transactions.
Financing online
He stated that applying for online financing requests is now simpler with KFHonline. KFH customers can access the service under "Finance Services" > "Finance Request" within the app.
Banking cards
Al-Obaid continued saying: “To enhance the customer experience, KFH simplified the process of adding beneficiaries with quick and easy steps. Transfers are now also easier and faster. KFH also introduced a range of bank card services, including the ability to temporarily deactivate and activate cards, and view card details and the PIN number."
Al-Obaid emphasized that KFH is committed to maintaining its leadership in digital banking by offering a diverse range of innovative services and solutions. This aims to enhance customer experience, keep pace with evolving technologies, and provide customers with seamless, fast, and secure banking experiences that fulfill all their financial needs conveniently and effortlessly, eliminating the need for branch visits.
More than 150 services on KFHonline
Through the KFH Online app and website, KFH offers over 150 services, while XTMs and KFH GO smart branches provide approximately 50 additional services. Consequently, KFH customers have access to nearly 200 e-services.
KFH offers a range of services, including e-payment and settlement solutions, opening bank accounts online, instant printing of all types of bank cards, gold buying and selling, and the ability to conduct numerous transactions without visiting a branch.
