KFH Launches 'Mishkat Al-Nubuwwa' Hadith Memorization Competition

KUWAIT CITY, November 6: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announces the launch of "Mishkat Al-Nubuwwa," the largest competition of its kind in Kuwait, to be held in December 2024. The competition offers prizes of up to KD 10,000 for memorizing the Prophetic Hadith.

“As part of KFH's commitment to social responsibility, this initiative aimed to foster religious culture and promote Islamic values derived from the Hadith of the Prophet” said Executive Manager Internal Shariah Audit KFH Kuwait, Abdullah Al-Shuaib.

He added that the competition is divided into three age groups: the first group is for ages 6 to 11 (30 hadith), the second group is for ages 12 to 17 (60 hadith), and the third group is for ages 18 and above (90 hadith). Participants are placed in categories based on their age, and ten winners are chosen from each group, resulting in a total of 30 winners across all three age groups. The competition details and application form can be found on the KFH website (www.kfh.com).

Al-Shuaib pointed out that the competition aims to spotlight the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), preserving and applying it. This endeavor contributes to reinforcing adherence to the Prophet's Sunnah, fostering a deeper understanding of its objectives, and disseminating Islamic values and teachings within society.

Mishkat Al-Nubuwwah competition is an extension of KFH's Quran recitation competitions for customers and employees. It aims to promote the moral and ethical values found in both the Quran and the Sunnah, encouraging adherence to their guidance.
