KUWAIT CITY, November 14: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) offers comprehensive banking services to its customers with special needs. This confirms KFH's commitment to meeting customer expectations and reinforcing its CSR leadership.
KFH is committed to ensuring that customers with special needs can easily access banking services. To achieve this, KFH provides trained staff to assist with banking transactions and offers alternative communication channels to meet individual needs.
KFH has 76 trained employees across 12 well-equipped branches, fully experienced in sign language to assist customers.
KFH is keen to enable all its customers, regardless of theirdisability, to benefit from its banking services. Therefore, KFH hasallocated branches equipped with a thorough set of features and services that support its main objectives.These includedesignated parking for individuals with special needs and wheelchair-accessible entrances to ensure easy, quick access upon arrival, access to ATMs, headphone features in ATMs, safety deposit boxes, in addition to staff trained in sign language.
KFH employees receive extensive training in sign language to assist customers with hearing impairments. Moreover, account opening forms, contracts, and transaction documents are printed in Braille. In the digital sphere, KFH doors are equipped with sensors to facilitate smooth transitions between customers, automatically closing until the transaction is completed.
KFH is willing to conclude strategic partnerships with entities concerned with people with special needs and provide appropriate training. Notably, KFH have established a partnership with the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped (KSH) aimed at integrating individuals with disabilities into the community. This partnership focuses on providing training and development opportunities that lead to sustainable job placements, improved psychological well-being, and a more inclusive work environment for people with disabilities. Since this partnership in 2021, KFH has delivered extensive training programs to employees across KFH functions and departments, enhancing their ability to contribute meaningfully to the Bank.
In partnership with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs (PADA), KFH is the first bank in Kuwait to launch a comprehensive program to integrate people with special needs, offering them practical training programs and full-time jobs.
