KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has organized a cybersecurity workshop for its Baiti account customers in collaboration with CODED Academy. This initiative aims to introduce kids to simplified safety and security concepts when using the internet and technological tools.
The cybersecurity workshop was attended by supervisors and specialists in the field. It featured interactive activities aimed at introducing and training children on various technological concepts. The workshop pursued to promote safety and security among the participating kids when using the internet and creating secure passwords, ensuring the protection of personal information.
Executive Manager Retail Banking Segmentation at KFH, Athba Al-Humaidi said that KFH offers Baiti saving account which is a distinctive program that is designed for children [newborns up to 14 years of age] which includes various benefits. KFH provides this segment with the chance to open the Al-Hassad account as well, allowing them to benefit from yearly draws, prizes, diverse offers and year-round educational and entertaining programs. It also targets this customer segment to strengthen their saving conduct and the use of new digital tools that allow them to monitor their accounts easily.
Al-Humaidi mentioned that one of the most important and prominent features provided to the children’s parents is the ability to manage and view their children’s accounts through KFHonline, enabling them to complete banking transactions with ease.
Through such workshops, training and awareness programs, KFH aims to foster the younger generations’ connection with digital technology, contributing to the development of children’s talents and skills. KFH also strives to expand the knowledge horizons for the current generation, the cornerstone of the future, especially in the context of artificial intelligence applications and cutting-edge technology tools, which have become indispensable across all aspects of life.
The strategic partnership with CODED Academy, which began in 2018, is part of KFH’s of social responsibility and keenness to support technological advancement, creativity, and innovation initiatives.
