KFH Participates in GUST’s Career Fair

Kuwait City, May 15: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recently concluded its participation in the 25th edition of the three-day career fair held at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani.  

At KFH’s pavilion, a team from KFH Human Resources received applications from many applicants and answered inquiries about career opportunities from recent graduates and undergraduate students seeking part-time employment.

The event, launched by the Acting Secretary General of the Private Universities Council, Dr. Adel Al-Bader, and President of Gulf University for Science and Technology, Prof. Bassam Alameddine, saw a large number of students applying to KFH and seeking careers that aligned with their majors and the job market needs.

KFH’s participation in the career fair is part of its ongoing efforts to attract and support young Kuwaiti talent at all levels. This initiative serves as an extension of KFH’s broader commitment to supporting the endeavors of both public and private universities.

KFH Senior Manager Recruitment, Abdullah Al-Khamis, emphasized KFH’s commitment to strengthening its ties with GUST and other academic institutions. This aligns with the bank’s strategy to support students, the educational process, and Kuwaiti talent. He further commended GUST’s role in equipping young talents with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the private sector.

Al-Khamis emphasized the importance of participating in similar events to foster and strengthen communication channels between universities and KFH through diverse initiatives, ultimately benefiting both parties.

He pointed out that the participation contributes to enhancing KFH’s efforts in attracting university graduates and honing their capabilities through internships. It also enhances KFH’s role by organizing workshops and lectures for students and participating in research seminars.

Al-Khamis went on to say that KFH has an unprecedented record of achievements in supporting students and collaborating with public and private educational institutions. He stressed KFH’s commitment to move forward towards supporting students and youth development.
