KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has renewed its strategic partnership with the Kuwait Sea Sport Club (KSSC) to support Kuwait’s national Jet Ski team in their participation in the World Championship held in the United States from October 7 to 13 of this year.
Kuwait national jet ski team achieved remarkable results in the championship, which took place in the state of Arizona, securing a total of six medals: two gold, one silver, and three bronze. Member of KFH’s Strategic Partnership initiative, Mohammed Burbayea, won two gold medals, further strengthening his record in the Guinness World Records with a total of 28 medals.

On this occasion, KFH Executive Manager Media and Government Relations, Mohammed Alfaris expressed KFH’s pride in its distinguished strategic partnership with KSSC, which is part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. He emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting youth and sports in general, motivating Kuwaiti youth to achieve more and succeed in international sporting arenas.

He pointed out that KFH has extended its support to KSSC each year, pointing out that KFH is the only institution in the banking sector that consistently provides support and attention to the team every year. This reflects the bank’s interest in both team and individual sports activities, fostering the development of talents and skills in sports.

Alfaris added: “KFH continues to support youth and sports as part of its sustainability strategy, which highlights its leadership in social responsibility and its continuous collaboration with talented Kuwaiti youth to help them achieve the highest levels of success and showcase their capabilities in various fields.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of Kuwait Sea Sport Club, Khalid Al-Foudary, expressed the club’s gratitude and appreciation for KFH’s support of the jet ski team, noting that this support is not surprising from a bank that has been directly associated with promoting this sport.

Mohammed Burbayea, a member of KFH’s Strategic Partnership initiative, praised KFH’s consistent support over the years, highlighting its significant role in sponsoring and supporting the Kuwaiti youth and sports which further demonstrates KFH’s leadership and excellence in social responsibility.
