Kuwait City, Apr 03: In line with its commitment to social responsibility, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) organized several Gergean activities for children in various locations. This initiative is part of its wider Ramadan program, “Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan”.

Gergean festivities took place in various locations, including Sadu Street, The Avenues, Winter Wonderland, and several schools. These events aimed to bring joy and happiness to as many children as possible, all while emphasizing the importance of preserving Kuwaiti heritage and traditional customs.

At the Avenues, the KFH pavilion welcomed children and handed out Gergean throughout the day. This helped bring joy and happiness to the children and their families. The event reflects the bank's commitment to interacting with all segments of society and participating in various community events.

KFH also held another event at KFH Zone in Winter Wonderland for children and families attending the entertainment city during Gergean Days. In addition, the strategic partner, Sadu House, participated in the event by offering children's training courses and workshops.

For those who couldn't attend the KFH Gergean activities, the KFH team brought the celebration to them. The team visited primary schools in various regions, partnering with educational and administrative bodies. Together, they shared the joy of Gergean with the students and distributed Gergean treats.

In line with its continuing commitment to social responsibility and community service, KFH launched the "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" 2024 program. This program is packed with community initiatives, diverse volunteer campaigns, and regular communication with the public. Also, it champions a diverse range of community initiatives that integrate all segments of society, solidifying KFH's leadership in volunteer work, CSR, and sustainable development.

KFH kicked off its "Increase Good Deeds in Ramadan" program by distributing Iftar meals. The KFH Volunteer Team delivered the meals to various locations across several Kuwaiti governorates, expanding the program's reach. KFH volunteer team also distributed Iftar snacks to drivers during Maghrib prayers. This initiative, conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, aimed to ensure drivers reached home safely by encouraging them to avoid speeding. KFH also partnered with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to provide Ramadan baskets to families in need. This collaboration not only strengthened the volunteer spirit but also helped instill the concept of giving within the community.”

Beyond food distribution, the program embraces a variety of community initiatives. These include sports and youth activities, Quran competitions, daily interaction with the public, Gergean events, and awareness videos. The videos are produced in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait Fire Force, nutritionists, and doctors. The program also offers hospitality services for prayers in mosques and shares iftar meals with various entities working during iftar time.

KFH Ramadan program offers a variety of sports and health activities during Ramadan. These include the V-Fit Virtual Walking Challenge, held in collaboration with the V-Thru App. This challenge encourages participants to walk in Al Shaheed Park and the Avenues Mall before iftar.

For KFH staff, the program included the Employees Indoor Football Championship and the first-ever US penalty shootout tournament.

In collaboration with Kuwaiti Chef Faisal Al-Nashmi, KFH offered a cooking workshop for female customers and employees.
