KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has unveiled a new visual identity to align with its growth, significant achievements, and expanding global presence. The rebranding also reflects KFH's aspirations and reinforces its dedication to embracing technology, progress, and innovation in the digital era, solidifying its position as a leader in Islamic banking.
The new visual identity was unveiled at a grand ceremony held at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. This special event was attended by the Chairman, Hamad Abdulmohsen Al-Marzouq and Board members, Group Chief Executive Officer, Khaled Yousef AlShamlan, along with other members of KFH executive management and employees.
KFH Chairman, Hamad Abdulmohsen Al-Marzouq said: “We are delighted to announce the dawn of a new chapter for Kuwait Finance House, characterized by a distinct experience and an exceptional vision for the future. This phase marks a transformative milestone in our journey, signified by the launch of our new visual identity. This identity embodies the future and reflects the Group's leading position in digital excellence, innovation, and global leadership in the development of Islamic financial services."
He added: “Last year, by the grace of Allah, we accomplished a historic mission. We achieved a significant milestone by successfully implementing the first and largest merger project in the Kuwaiti banking sector. This merger was part of the strategic acquisition of Ahli United Group – Bahrain, the largest such deal in the region. Following the acquisition, KFH has become the largest bank in Kuwait by market capitalization and the largest Kuwaiti private sector company listed on Boursa Kuwait, with a market capitalization of approximately KD 13 billion. Furthermore, KFH has emerged as the world's second-largest Islamic bank, achieving significant milestones and reaping substantial benefits across all areas of the institution. This has positively impacted our valued customers and shareholders."
Al-Marzouq pointed out that KFH Group boasts a substantial financial network encompassing 12 countries worldwide. Among the most prominent of these are Kuwait, Bahrain, Turkey, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Germany. KFH’s global presence confirms its standing as a global leader of Islamic banking services.
He said that the new visual identity encompasses more than just a logo. It represents a significant step towards a new era in modern Islamic banking, serving as a driving force in our pursuit of becoming one of the world's top 100 banks.
Al-Marzouq expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to shaping this new identity for KFH, wishing everyone success.
