Khaitan Security Campaign Arrests 33 Law Violators, Over 2,500 Violations Issued

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The Ministry of Interior recently conducted a large-scale traffic security campaign in the Khaitan area. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior. Several key field sectors participated, including the General Traffic Department, General Department of Rescue Police, Public Security Sector, Special Security Forces, and a notable contribution from female police officers. The campaign led to the issuance of 2,511 traffic violations and the arrest of 33 individuals. Among those arrested, 19 were found to be violating residency and labor laws, 5 were wanted for absconding, 8 had outstanding arrest warrants, and 1 person was detained without proper identification. Additionally, 13 wanted vehicles were seized, and one individual was arrested in an abnormal condition. This campaign underscores the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing traffic safety and maintaining public security through coordinated and effective enforcement efforts.
