Khaitan Security Sweep: 34 Arrests, 2,831 Traffic Violations, and Drug Seizure

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Ministry of Interior conducted a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Khaitan area, under the direct supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef. The campaign involved several field sectors, including the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Emergency Police, and the Public Security Sector, with support from the Special Security Forces and participation from the Women's Police.

As a result of the operation, authorities issued 2,831 traffic violations, arrested 34 individuals with outstanding warrants, and apprehended 17 violators of residency and labor laws. Additionally, 22 wanted vehicles were seized, three were impounded, and two narcotics possession cases were uncovered. Four individuals were referred to the traffic police for further action.

The Ministry emphasized that this campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance security and maintain order throughout the country. It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing security operations and enforcing its plan to apprehend violators and wanted individuals, aiming to ensure the safety and stability of the nation.
