KPC CEO: Dedicated to enhancing leadership skills in the oil sector

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), emphasized the commitment to developing and refining the skills of the next generation of leaders in the oil sector to achieve the strategic goals of the corporation and its subsidiaries, as well as driving the Kuwaiti oil industry towards providing sustainable energy for a promising future.

This came during Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah's speech at the annual forum for the leadership of KPC and its subsidiaries, organized by the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) on Tuesday under the theme "Towards a Promising Future with Innovation and Digital Transformation."

He highlighted the importance of joint efforts and building expertise among employees in the oil sector to propel the national economy into the future, noting that this forum is the most significant gathering for oil sector leaders to review the achievements of the past fiscal year.

For his part, KUFPEC CEO Mohammad Al-Haimer stressed the importance of optimizing artificial intelligence and digital transformation to achieve the objectives of the oil sector. Al-Haimer stated that KUFPEC continues to achieve success after success in its exploration operations, citing the new oil discovery in the Geisum and Tawila West Concession in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt.

He reiterated the company's dedication to enhancing its international standing as an active and advanced investor in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons outside of Kuwait.

The forum covered various topics related to digital transformation in line with KPC's digital transformation strategy, as well as discussions on accelerating technological developments and the changes needed to implement digitization across all systems, procedures, and operations in the oil sector to support operational excellence and continuous innovation.
