Ministry of Interior considers Kuwait University's request to Issue family visas for academic staff.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: In a recent development, it has been reported that the Ministry of Interior is considering a proposal by Kuwait University. A report, compiled by competent authorities within the Ministry, outlines the institution's vision on Kuwait University's request to explore a mechanism allowing academic staff members to issue entry visas for their families. This initiative aims to mirror the conditions already in place for those working in the medical field, fostering family stability.

Following the preparation of the report, a meeting was convened between the relevant authorities and Kuwait University, aligning with the Ministry's directive. The meeting, attended by Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, Acting Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fahd Al-Fadhli, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Khaled Al-Ali, Acting Director of the University Administration for Academic Staff Affairs, delved into discussions surrounding the proposed mechanism. This mechanism is intended to facilitate the issuance of family entry visas to those who meet the stipulated conditions to recruiting spouses and children of academic staff members.

Upon thorough deliberation, the concerned authorities have submitted a comprehensive report to the Ministry, outlining the details of Kuwait University's request.
