KUWAIT CITY, Apr 10: The Ramadan football championship organized by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Workers' Union concluded with the Altarajiy team emerging victorious over the Maradonians team in the final match, with a score of 5-2. The championship, which lasted for two days, saw the participation of five teams and 40 players.

Honoring the first-place Taraji team

Player Abdullah Al-Salem from the Tahrir Sector team won the title of top scorer in the championship with 22 goals, while player Bilal Ahmed from the Maradonians team was awarded the best goalkeeper award.

KUNA Chairman Mohammed Al-Zaidi stated in a press statement that this tournament was the first organized by the union, and it provided an opportunity to entertain KUNA workers in an enthusiastic atmosphere during the month of Ramadan. He added that the tournament witnessed strong competition and included 24 matches, with all five participating teams being honored.

Al-Zaidi expressed his hope for an increase in the number of competitions and entertainment activities for KUNA employees, and announced that more activities for male and female employees are planned for the coming period. He also acknowledged the support of the sponsoring companies for the championship and their positive role in making the sporting event a success.
