KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Kuwait ranked fifth in the world and the first in the Gulf and Arab countries on the list of ‘Global Oil Prices’ – among the cheapest countries in the world in gasoline prices, in a survey which included 164 countries around the world.

The price of a gallon in Kuwait on July 29, 2019 was the equivalent of $1.3, which ranks Kuwait seventh among the 15 countries with the world’s largest proven oil reserves, reports Al-Anba daily.

“Venezuela topped the list as usual in the world’s top spot with a price of $ 0.004, followed by Cuba at $0.34, Sudan at $0.58, and Iran at $1.08 per gallon, according to the “24/7 Wall Street” newspaper.

In terms of the Gulf countries, Qatar was ranked 12th in the world and the second in the Gulf at $ 1.82 per gallon, followed by Bahrain which is ranked 16th in the world at $ 2.01, then Oman and Saudi Arabia ranked 19th and 20th respectively and the fourth and fifth in the Gulf States at $ 2.11 and $ 2.2 per gallon respectively while the UAE ranked 22nd in the world and sixth Gulf at 2.2 dollars per gallon.
