KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: The Kuwait Air Sports Club announced that the Kuwait national aviation team specialized in aviation and space technology will represent the country in the World Cup for Inventions and Scientific Research, which will be held in Tunisia on the first and second of September.

The club’s chairman, Sami Al-Shammari, said in a press statement on Sunday that the team’s participation is the first of its kind, indicating that the tournament will witness competition between more than 600 people from different countries of the world. Al-Shammari said that the Kuwait national team will be represented by players Hawra Mirza, Abdul-Razzaq Al- Qallaf, Talal Al-Hazzami and Muhammad Al-Bahr, under the supervision of the team’s coach, Muhammad Al-Dhafiri, while the delegation will be headed by the club’s secretary, Muhammad Burhama. He said that the national team players “are the most distinguished among their colleagues and have already achieved good results thanks to their participation before the formation of the club.”

He explained that this team will be the nucleus to achieve the real launch of this sport and then expand the base of players, especially young people, pointing out that all members of the team, including coaches and players, have certificates approved by the space and aviation agencies accredited by the International Federation of Aeronautical Sports, which enabled them to participate in the international level.
