KUWAIT CITY, March 25: Kuwait International Airport customs officials successfully intercepted two separate attempts to smuggle marijuana on flights arriving from African countries. During routine inspections, officers grew suspicious of the first passenger. A thorough search of his luggage revealed tea bags containing concealed marijuana.
In a second incident, authorities apprehended another traveler who had ingeniously hidden packets of the drug in his clothing. Both individuals were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. The seizures demonstrate Kuwait's continued vigilance in combating drug trafficking through its borders. Customs officials remain on high alert to prevent such illicit activities at all entry points to the country.
