Rainfall hits varying levels across Kuwait, highest recorded at Kuwait Airport.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: The country experienced varying amounts of rainfall on Wednesday evening due to the influence of a low-pressure system, accompanied by a depression deepening in the upper layers of the atmosphere. The highest amount of rainfall was recorded at Kuwait Airport, with 3.85 mm, while the lowest was in Abdali, with 0.26 mm, according to Dharar Al-Ali, Director of the Meteorology Department.

In a statement to KUNA on Thursday, Al-Ali reported that monitoring stations across the country recorded varying levels of rainfall, ranging from light to moderate. The rainfall amounts included 3.65 mm in Al-Wafra, 3.03 mm in Jal Al-Liyah, 2.6 mm in Al-Rabiyah, and 1.17 mm in Salmiya.

Al-Ali forecasted that the rain would continue until Thursday evening, with a gradual decrease in cloud cover and diminishing chances of rain. Following this, the weather is expected to improve, with some areas possibly experiencing fog formation.
